Concord University is a public university located in Athens, West Virginia. It was established on 28th February 1872.
Concord University provides accessible, affordable, high-quality, and student-centered teaching and learning opportunities strengthened by integrated support services and co-curricular programs. It offers 11 undergraduate and six graduate programs in areas including business, education, fine arts, health sciences, humanities, mass communication, mathematics & computer science, physical & environmental sciences, social sciences, and social work & sociology. The campus is equipped with several amenities such as cafeteria, food court, laboratory, technology center, library, book store, counseling center, food pantry, fitness center, clubs & organizations, health care & medical etc. It also offers several student services including nonremedial tutoring, daycare, placement services, etc. along with on campus housing facilities for its students. Athens Campus offers two housing towers: North Tower (for women) and South Tower (for men) plus 2 traditional residence halls and few apartments for students to reside in.
